The 3M™ AccuGlide™ 2+ upper/lower taping head is designed with a curvilinear motion to provide low impact taping, ensuring the protection of lightweight cartons and their contents while applying tape widths of 1.5-2" (36-48mm) at conveyor speeds of up to 78 feet per minute. This taping head features a low profile side plate and open tape path that facilitate fast, easy threading, along with a friction brake drum that maintains proper tape tension and prevents overcoasting. Engineered for durability and low maintenance, it ensures consistent tape application and improved productivity. Flexible buffing and applying rollers easily adjust for case variation and can be removed effortlessly. Designed specifically for use in 3M-Matic™ adjustable case sealer A20 and A80 series, its compact size allows for compatibility with other box conveying systems. The tape drum latch secures the roll for stability and positive tape alignment, enhancing the overall efficiency of the packaging process.
