The 3M AccuGlide 2+ upper taping head features stainless steel construction designed for corrosive plant environments. It includes a low profile side plate and an open tape path that facilitate fast and easy threading, while the brake drum helps maintain proper tape tension and prevents overcoasting. The low-impact curvilinear motion exerts minimum force on the case, maximizing system life. This upper taping head is capable of applying tape widths of 48mm and 72mm (2" and 3") at speeds of up to 81 ft/min. Additionally, a flexible buffing roller and brush are included to accommodate case variation.
