The lower taping head features stainless steel construction for corrosive plant environments, with a low-impact curvilinear motion that exerts minimum force on cases and maximizes system life. It includes a low profile side plate and an open tape path for fast and easy threading, while the friction brake drum maintains proper tape tension and prevents overcoating. This head is capable of applying 48mm and 72mm (2" and 3") tape widths at case speeds of up to 81 ft/min. Additionally, the flexible buffing roller and brush are designed to compensate for case variation.
