The OSFHU passive infrared (PIR) fixture mount high-bay occupancy sensor is engineered for high-mounted environments such as warehouses and manufacturing facilities, offering a self-contained design that directly installs to industrial fluorescent luminaires or electrical junction boxes. It features two interchangeable lenses for either 360° high-bay or low-bay use, as well as a masking option for aisle ways, providing reliable coverage at heights up to 40 ft. Additionally, a model is available for cold storage applications with temperatures as low as -40° F (-40° C). The installation process involves connecting the unit through a standard 1/2" knockout using the provided lock-nuts, with internal wiring managed within the fixture body. The OSFHU incorporates a quicksnap locking mechanism built into the 1/2" nipple for easy mounting. The time delay setting is adjustable from 30 seconds to 20 minutes without requiring power, while the "instant on" closing relay activates lamps in under 5 seconds. The sensor is UL and CUL listed and complies with the 2016 Title 24, Part 6 occupancy sensing requirements. It also features a latching relay that ensures the device returns to its last known state after power loss, and an auto temperature calibration function that adjusts PIR sensitivity with increasing ambient temperatures to enhance detection capabilities.
