The Leviton fixture mounted sensor offers reliable passive infrared (PIR) technology to detect occupancy, providing energy savings by activating lighting only when needed. Its user-accessible variable time delay of up to 30 minutes can be easily set without tools or disassembly, allowing for customization based on application requirements. The kit includes lenses for both high-bay and low-bay applications, making it versatile for various settings. An innovative AutoCal feature automatically calibrates the daylight level, ensuring that the sensor operates optimally with no further adjustments needed, effectively switching the connected fixture load based on occupancy and available natural light. The HB011 model can be installed directly onto an industrial fluorescent fixture or electrical junction box using a standard 1/2" knockout and is wired inside the fixture body. The rotating light sensor is designed for optimal performance in measuring light in all directions, while enhanced algorithms prevent cycling of lights during cloud cover or fluctuating light levels. The device is compliant with UL 916, CSA 22.2 No. 205 M1983, and is FCC certified, meeting the 2016 Title 24, Part 6 occupancy sensing requirements.
