The Dual Technology (PDT) sensor is designed for effective occupancy detection, featuring patented dual technology that combines PIR and Microphonics detection for comprehensive 360° coverage. This sensor is equipped with push-button programming, has no minimum load requirements, and offers an adjustable time delay alongside a 100-hour lamp burn-in timer. It includes a green LED indicator for user feedback. The sensor is UL and CUL listed, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Constructed to provide line-of-sight PIR detection of small motion in a circular pattern, it utilizes overlapping Microphonics coverage to detect occupants in cubical spaces. The electrical specifications indicate that the sensor operates on a voltage range of 12 to 24 VAC/VDC, typically using a PP20 or MP20 power pack, allowing for the control of complete 20 amp circuits. For optimal performance, it is recommended to install the sensor along the entrance door wall to prevent it from viewing the hallway, thereby ensuring full visibility of the room.
