The JET JWBS-20-5 is a 20" bandsaw featuring a robust steel frame and powered by a 5HP, 1PH motor, specifically designed for woodworking applications. This bandsaw offers a 16" resaw capacity, allowing for the cutting of large wood pieces, slicing of veneers, and creating book-matched panels. It includes a 27-1/4" x 20" precision ground cast iron table, which enhances stability and work support. The heavy-duty cast iron fence system features a micro-adjustable, dual-position side plate for precise measurement and adjustments. The tool-less, independently adjustable upper and lower ball bearing guides provide ease of use, while the rigid four-sided guide post with rack and pinion adjustment ensures optimal blade support. For blade management, the JWBS-20-5 incorporates an easy-to-read blade tension scale visible through the upper door window and a single knob adjustment that simplifies the blade tracking process. Additionally, it features a blade tracking window for clear visibility during tracking and heavy-duty tensioning with quick release, offering full tension, partial tension, and full release options. The cast iron trunnion provides maximum support and stability.
