The Powermatic 2013B 20" bandsaw is a 5HP, 1PH, 230V machine designed for woodworking applications. The kit includes a sturdy cast iron table and trunnion assembly, offering maximum rigidity for handling large workpieces, and features a rack and pinion table tilt system for easy and precise adjustments. It is equipped with a foot brake and magnetic switch for hands-free stopping, as well as an exclusive Powermatic T-square style Accu-Fence that enhances accuracy and safety. The bandsaw utilizes upper and lower ball bearing guides to reduce friction and extend the lifespan of the blade guides. The solid cast iron upper and lower wheels generate the necessary momentum for heavy resawing, while high-end blade guides with tool-less adjustment provide stability for enhanced cutting accuracy. The Accu-Fence allows complete adjustability for aligning the blade and squaring it to the table. A heavy-duty upper wheel support and a reliable tracking mechanism ensure smooth operation, and the blade tension release incorporates an electrical interlock that prevents the bandsaw from starting when the blade is de-tensioned.
