The Powermatic 2415B-3 24" bandsaw is a robust tool designed for woodworking with a 5HP, 3-phase motor operating at 230/460V. This bandsaw includes a spacious heavy-duty cast iron table that offers ample room in front of the blade, solid cast iron upper and lower wheels for essential momentum during heavy resaw operations, and a foot brake with a magnetic switch for hands-free stopping. It features the exclusive Powermatic T-square style Accu-Fence that maximizes both accuracy and safety, along with a blade tension release equipped with an electrical interlock that prevents the saw from starting when the blade is de-tensioned. The sturdy cast iron table and trunnion assembly provide maximum rigidity for handling large workpieces, while the Accu-Fence allows for complete adjustability to align with the blade and square to the table.
