The BSC Preferred 55-gallon open head steel drum is designed to meet UN standards and is suitable for containing, storing, and transporting both hazardous and non-hazardous materials. It complies with Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations and is UN approved. The drum features a corrosion-resistant interior, an open head design with a removable top, an EPDM "D" gasket, and a 12 ga. bolt ring, making it ideal for liquid storage in a vertical position only. It is lined with a chemical-resistant epoxy phenolic coating. The UN ratings for this drum are Liquid - 1A2/Y1.5/150 and Solid - 1A2/X435/S.
