The BSC preferred open head stainless steel drum is designed for superior performance in corrosion resistance and reusability compared to conventional steel drums, making it ideal for applications requiring material purity and compatibility. Constructed from Type 304-2B polished stainless steel, this drum is specifically tailored for use with food products, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, water storage, and other corrosive products. It is UN rated and features a 16 gauge removable top alongside an 18 gauge body and base. The design includes an EPDM "D" cover gasket and a 12 gauge carbon steel bolt ring secured by a 5/8" bolt, ensuring durability and reliability in various storage scenarios.
