The wire mesh decking is a strong 2" x 4" product made from 6-gauge gray baked enamel finished wire with welded construction and 14 gauge channel supports. Unlike wood or metal decking, the wire design allows light, air, and sprinkler penetration, provides a clear view of upper tiers, and minimizes dust and debris accumulation. Installation is easy by simply dropping the decking into place over beams that have 1-1/2" or 1-5/8" steps. The decking supports a capacity of 2700 lb. To order, measure the beam length between uprights (left to right), the beam depth overall (front to back), and the depth between beam steps (front to back). For beam lengths of 96", use two 46" decks; for 108", use two 52"; for 120", use two 58"; and for 144", use three 46".
