The K-FLEX 6RXLO100058 is a 6-foot Insul-Lock DS pipe insulation product featuring a 1/2" inner diameter and a 1" thickness, equipped with overlap tape. Insul-Lock® DS (DoubleSeal) is designed as a flexible closed-cell elastomeric insulation tube, aimed at conserving energy and preventing condensation in piping applications. It includes a pre-slit design with a factory-applied pressure sensitive modified-acrylic adhesive reinforced with scrim on the seam surface, along with a flexible PVC overlap tape that uses acrylic adhesive to enhance seam security. This insulation system effectively reduces installation time and costs while ensuring a robust and durable seal. The product's closed-cell structure delivers outstanding thermal performance with a thermal conductivity (K-value) of 0.245 at 75°F and a water vapor transmission (WVT) rate of 0.03 perm-inch, making it suitable for applications within a temperature range of -70°F to +220°F.
