The K-FLEX 6RXLO100448 6' Insul-Lock DS Pipe Insulation features a 4-1/2" inner diameter and is 1" thick, equipped with overlap tape for enhanced sealing. Insul-Lock® DS (DoubleSeal) is a flexible closed-cell elastomeric insulation tube designed for energy conservation and condensation prevention on piping applications. It comes pre-slit with a factory-applied pressure-sensitive modified-acrylic adhesive with scrim reinforcement on the seam surface, along with a flexible PVC overlap tape featuring an acrylic adhesive for added seam security. This system not only reduces installation time and costs but also ensures a robust and durable seal. The insulation's closed-cell structure provides excellent thermal properties, boasting a K-value of 0.245 at 75°F and a water vapor transmission (WVT) rate of 0.03 perm-in, making it suitable for applications with a temperature range of -70°F to +220°F.
