The Imperial High Density Shelving Single Sided Starter Unit features six shelf openings and offers a versatile storage solution suitable for any office environment. This uniquely designed shelving saves up to 60% floor space compared to conventional filing equipment and is ideal for tab filing, ensuring that files are more visible and accessible by keeping them upright and organized. Constructed from attractive and functional steel, the shelving is both rugged for use in warehouses and storage rooms and appealing for front office settings. It includes double walled T-post uprights with welded steel panels, steel shoulder rivets, and shelf supports capable of withstanding a shelf capacity of up to 400 lb. The steel shelves are height adjustable in 1-1/2" increments and come with five large adjustable dividers per shelf, each measuring 10-1/2"D x 7-1/2"H, which can be positioned along the backstop at 2" increments to keep folders upright. Additionally, the shelves feature a backstop to retain files and non-marring molded polyethylene floor caps to protect floors and carpets. The unit is finished with sand enamel and allows for easy assembly.
