The Imperial High Density Shelving Single Sided Add-On Unit features 7 shelf openings and provides a versatile storage solution suitable for any office environment. This shelving system is designed to save up to 60% floor space compared to conventional filing equipment. It is ideal for tab filing, which enhances the visibility and accessibility of files by keeping them upright and organized. The unit is constructed with attractive and functional steel shelving that is rugged enough for both front office use and warehouse or storage room applications. It includes double-walled T-Post uprights, welded steel panels, and steel shoulder rivets, allowing for a shelf capacity of up to 400 lb. The steel shelves are height adjustable in 1-1/2" increments and come with five large adjustable dividers measuring 10-1/2"D x 7-1/2"H each, which can be adjusted along the backstop at 2" increments to ensure folders remain upright. Additionally, the shelves include a backstop for file retention and are equipped with non-marring molded polyethylene floor caps to protect floors and carpets. Add-on units can easily connect to starter or other add-on units to create rows or aisles of shelving, utilizing one pair of uprights and one side panel for installation, thus reducing costs. The unit has a sand enamel finish and allows for easy assembly.
