The Imperial High Density Shelving Single Sided Add-On Unit features 6 shelf openings and offers a versatile storage solution designed for office environments. This uniquely designed shelving system saves up to 60% floor space compared to conventional filing equipment and is perfect for tab filing, allowing files to be more visible and accessible by keeping them upright and organized. Constructed from attractive and functional steel, it is suitable for both front office use and rugged enough for warehouses or storage rooms. The unit includes double-walled T-post uprights with welded steel panels, steel shoulder rivets, and shelf supports that provide a shelf capacity of up to 400 lb. The steel shelves are height adjustable at 1-1/2" increments and come with five large adjustable dividers per shelf, sized 10-1/2"D x 7-1/2"H, which adjust along the backstop at 2" increments to keep folders upright. Each shelf includes a backstop to retain files and is equipped with non-marring molded polyethylene floor caps to protect floors and carpets. Add-on units connect easily to starter or other add-on units to create rows or aisles of shelving, utilizing one pair of uprights and one side panel for installation, minimizing costs. The unit is finished with sand enamel and allows for easy assembly.
