The Steel Wheel Riser, also known as a wheel ramp, is designed to properly position trucks and semi-trailers above docks for efficient loading, while ensuring tractor trailers remain level to eliminate safety hazards associated with uneven dock ramps. This loading dock wheel riser complies with OSHA requirements for a maximum grade of 10% for ascending or descending loaded forklifts. Constructed from all-welded steel, it features a non-skid diamond treadplate surface for enhanced safety. Built-in fork pockets measuring 7" W x 2" H provide easy portability with a forklift and increase the overall width of each riser by 15". The durable brown enamel finish adds longevity to the product. Sold individually, each riser has a capacity of 20,000 lbs., allowing a combined weight capacity of 40,000 lbs. when used as a pair. It's important to note that the 24" wide wheel risers are most effective for dual wheels on semi-trailers, which typically measure 18" wide.
