The Steel Wheel Riser serves as a wheel ramp that enables trucks and semi-trailers to be positioned correctly above docks for efficient loading. This loading dock wheel riser keeps tractor trailers level at loading docks, thereby eliminating safety hazards associated with uneven dock ramps. The riser is engineered to meet OSHA requirements for a maximum grade of 10% for ascending or descending loaded forklifts. Constructed from all-welded steel, the ramp features a non-skid diamond treadplate surface for enhanced safety. It includes built-in fork pockets measuring 7" W x 2" H for easy portability with a forklift, adding 15" to the overall width of each riser. With a durable brown enamel finish, these risers have a capacity of 20,000 lbs. per riser, or 40,000 lbs. per pair. It is important to note that the 24" wide wheel risers are most suitable for dual wheels on semi-trailers, which typically measure 18" wide.
