Plastic tanks are designed for the storage of water as well as various agricultural and industrial chemicals, constructed from all-virgin, medium-density polyethylene with ultraviolet (UV) inhibiting stabilizers to ensure durability for long-term outdoor use. The tank material is FDA approved for potable water storage and is suitable for containing liquids (excluding flammable liquids and hydrocarbons) with a specific gravity of up to 1.7. The recommended maximum constant operating temperature is 140° F, which aligns with the molding specifications of polyethylene. Its low profile design enhances safety, and the translucent tank walls allow for easy visibility of the contents. Each tank is equipped with a 5" fill opening, a drain, and graduated gallon/liter marks for measurement. It is important to note that if a liquid is designated to be stored only in glass containers, this tank should not be utilized for that purpose; however, any liquid approved for plastic storage is appropriate for use in this tank.
