The Chase Doors AirGard® Flexible Impact Traffic Door is designed for use in environments such as factories, food processing plants, and restaurants, facilitating free movement between temperature-controlled areas without the use of traditional doors and handles. The door features a 0.160" thick PVC body complemented by a two-ply vinyl coated nylon bracket pocket, while its embossed finish provides resistance against scratches, scuffs, and abrasions. For enhanced sealing, the design includes balloon jamb edge seals and top/bottom wipers, along with a 3" overlap at the center that functions as a noise and temperature barrier. Additionally, 48"H USDA accepted textured vinyl impact plates on both sides of the door panel contribute to its strength and durability. The door also boasts an extra-large viewing area for improved visibility and safety. Equipped with a top-mounted gravity hinging system, the door opens instantly upon contact and closes automatically, although it is not recommended for motorized traffic or freezer applications.
