The JTM-1 and JTM-2 vertical milling machines are engineered with a three-stage power down feed featuring automatic stop, high precision class 7 spindle bearings, and the rugged stability provided by Meehanite castings. These machines are equipped with a precision bored and honed milling head, a large diameter quill that is chromed, and an internally cooled spindle head that prevents seizing, ensuring superior performance. Additional features include satin chrome finished dials, a heavy-duty spindle motor drive, a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, a heavy-duty spindle brake, precision hardened and ground ways, and a precision ground table. The design incorporates adjustable gibs throughout, an internal coolant tank built into the base for coolant system use (coolant pump not included), and a tolerance test sheet. A one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools are also included.
