The JTM-1 and 2 models feature a three-stage power down feed with auto stop, and are equipped with high precision class 7 spindle bearings, offering rugged stability with Meehanite castings. The internally cooled spindle head prevents seizing, while Jet precision engineering guarantees superior results. Key features include a precision bored and honed milling head, a large diameter chromed quill, satin chrome finished dials, a heavy-duty spindle motor drive, a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, a heavy-duty spindle brake, precision hardened and ground ways, and a precision ground table. The machine also includes adjustable gibs throughout, an internal coolant tank built into the base (coolant pump not included), a tolerance test sheet, a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools.
