Constructed using the Meehanite casting process, JET variable speed milling machines provide consistent and reliable operation. The machines feature precision bored and honed milling heads that ensure quality cuts, along with a large diameter quill that is chromed for durability. Key attributes include high precision Class 7 spindle bearings, a chrome plated motor shaft with lower bearing support, and an internally cooled spindle head. The heavy-duty spindle motor drive and one-piece quill pinion and shaft enhance performance, while the three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop simplifies operation. Additional features include a heavy-duty spindle brake, locks on all movable surfaces, precision hardened and ground ways and table, and adjustable gibs throughout. The internal coolant tank is built into the casting base for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included), and a tolerance test sheet is included. The milling machine is also equipped with a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools. Available in single or three-phase power configurations, the JET JTM-4VS series mills are backed by a two-year full service and parts warranty.
