Indexing plungers GN 617-NI are standard units designed for a variety of indexing mechanisms, available in Type G or GK with threaded plunger ends suitable for applications requiring a custom knob or design, or where the spindle is directly linked to an operating mechanism. The nylon plastic hand knob, which features a maximum heat resistance of 110°C or 230°F, is complemented by a stainless steel plunger pin that is chemically nickel plated. In addition to this, the indexing plungers also come in versions without heads (GN 613-NI) and with a rest position (GN 617.NI) in stainless steel. Key materials include a threaded body made of stainless steel (European Standard No. 1.4305, American Standard 303 series), a non-removable matte black glass fiber reinforced nylon plastic knob for the plastic version, a stainless steel knob compliant with European Standard No. 1.4305, and a lock nut made of stainless steel following DIN 439/ISO 4035.
