GN 717 are a range of low-cost indexing plungers designed for applications where high precision indexing is not critical and suitable for small dimensions. The kit includes a threaded body made of steel, zinc-plated, and blue passivated; a plunger pin constructed from stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4305; a spring made from stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4310; a pull ring version also made of stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4310; and a pull knob version made of matte black glass fiber reinforced nylon plastic that is non-removable. The lock nut is made from steel and zinc-plated. The nylon plastic hand knob has a maximum heat resistance of 110°C or 230°F.
