GN 717 are a range of low-cost indexing plungers designed for applications where high precision indexing is not critical, making them suitable for small dimensions. The kit includes a threaded body made of steel, zinc-plated with blue passivation, a plunger pin crafted from stainless steel compliant with European standard No. 1.4305, and a spring also made from stainless steel meeting European standard No. 1.4310. Additionally, the pull ring version features stainless steel conforming to European standard No. 1.4310, while the pull knob version consists of a matte black glass fiber reinforced nylon plastic that is not removable. The lock nut is made of zinc-plated steel, and the maximum heat resistance of the nylon plastic hand knob is 110°C or 230°F.
