The Quincy Lab slide cabinet is specifically designed for pathological laboratories, doctors' offices, and research institutions requiring protected, compact, and organized micro-slide storage. Constructed from heavy-gauge steel, it features a baked-on, rust-resistant enamel finish with a smooth "non-textured" surface for easy cleaning. The cabinet is stackable with interlocking tabs and is compatible with other cabinets on the market for interchangeable stacking. It includes six individual drawers, capable of holding up to 5,000 standard 3" x 1" glass slides, and a sold-separately base unit that provides solid support and rests on scratch-proof rubber feet. Available in standard tan or Quincy clean-room ivory, the cabinet’s drawers have black phenolic pull knobs for convenience and are equipped with a safety stop to prevent them from falling out when extended, while still allowing for easy removal by tipping upward when fully extended. Foam rubber dividers maintain slides in an upright position when drawers are partially filled, and identification tabs are included for easy labeling. Each cabinet is fully inspected prior to shipment and packaged using recyclable, biodegradable materials.
