The DeWalt 1.25HP Max Torque Variable Speed Compact Router Combo Kit, model DWP611PK, features a durable 1.25HP motor with a power rating of 7.0 Amps and a variable speed range of 1600-27000 RPM, allowing bit speed optimization for various applications. The soft-starting motor includes full-time electronic feedback to maintain consistent motor speed during cuts. It is equipped with dual LEDs and a clear sub-base for maximum visibility and has an adjustment ring permitting controlled bit depth changes to within 1/64" on the fixed base. The plunge base includes a fine-tune adjustment rod for precise depth settings and has overmolded rubber handles for comfort and secure grip. A large, low-pressure spindle lock button enables comfortable, single-wrench bit changes, supported by multiple shaft-lock detents for quick bit transitions. The depth ring and clamping mechanism lock the motor in position on the fixed base, which also features spring-loaded release tabs for quick base removal.
