The DeWalt Plate Joiner Kit, model DW682K, features a 6.5 amp motor delivering 10,000 RPM for effective use in hardwoods. It includes a 7/8" arbor and a dual rack and pinion fence system that ensures the blade and fence remain parallel for precise joints. The integral one-piece fence is adjustable and tilts from 0 to 90°, with the capability to make flush cuts at 0° without removing the fence. A 45° locating notch in the fence allows indexing off the outside surface of a mitered joint. The kit includes a non-marring, heavy-duty aluminum shoe, enabling the joiner to be clamped for stationary work. Retractable, anti-slip pins assist in holding the workpiece securely, and preset depth stops accommodate all common biscuit sizes (0, 10, 20). The package includes the plate joiner, fence, and all necessary accessories for immediate use. Warranty terms are included with the kit.
