The safety-labeled wash bottles come with a unique, 2-piece valve that prevents pressure build-up of solvents, allowing for the venting of volatiles and eliminating solvent drips. Each bottle is pre-printed with essential information, including the chemical name and formula, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Section 704 four-color diamond, health hazards, Chemical Abstract System (CAS) number, and suggested protective clothing and equipment. Key features include a valve that eliminates drips and allows dispensing in both upright and inverted positions, a wide mouth measuring 53 mm (2 inches) for easy refilling, and a polypropylene closure designed for leak-proof operation, color-coded for easy identification. The bottles are made from translucent, LDPE that is solvent-resistant, with specific materials such as white LDPE for sodium hypochlorite providing light protection in the range of 230 to 450 nm, and red LDPE for toluene. These wash bottles comply with OSHA requirements outlined in Hazard Communication Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200, and custom labeling options are available.
