The kit is designed for effortless and continuous vacuum aspiration of various liquids, including tissue culture media, supernatants, and chemical wastes. It includes a flexible collection tubing with dimensions of 1/4" ID x 3/8" OD, allowing users to connect a disposable pipette tip, Pasteur pipette, or other suitable tips for effective aspiration from Petri dishes, microtiter plates, flasks, and centrifuge tubes. The heavy-wall polypropylene collection bottle is resistant to chemicals and corrosion, and it features a trap to protect the vacuum source from overflow. The entire assembly is housed in a compact epoxy-coated steel frame that minimizes workspace crowding. Additionally, the screw cap on the collection bottle includes a safety release vent to prevent vacuum implosion, and UV inhibitors molded into the bottle permit safe exposure to UV sterilization cycles. Both the bottle and cap are autoclavable, ensuring compliance with sterilization protocols.
