The JET 15" bandsaw is designed to deliver exceptional performance, featuring 13-1/2" of re-saw capacity and 14" re-saw capacity for handling large pieces of wood, slicing veneers, and cutting book-matched panels. It includes a 21-1/2" x 16" precision-ground cast iron table for added stability and work support, complemented by a heavy-duty cast-iron fence system with a micro-adjustable, dual-position side plate. Tool-less, independently adjustable upper and lower ball bearing guides enhance convenience during setup, while a rigid four-sided guide post with rack and pinion adjustment provides optimum blade support. The bandsaw is equipped with an easy-to-read blade tension scale visible through the upper door window and features a single knob adjustment for simplifying the blade tracking process. Additional specifications include a blade tracking window for clear visibility during tracking, heavy-duty tensioning with quick release that offers three settings (full tension, partial tension, and full release), and a cast iron trunnion for maximum support and stability. The slotted table facilitates front blade removal, and cast iron handwheels with ergonomically designed knobs allow for smooth and easy adjustments. A round table insert features leveling screws for precise adjustment, and the machine includes conveniently located dual 4" dust collection ports to efficiently capture dust and chips.
