The PWBS-14CS bandsaw features an extra large, two-piece cast iron table comprising a 15" x 15" tilting section and a fixed 15" x 5" extension, providing a total working surface area of 15" x 20". It is equipped with a balanced, nine-spoke cast iron wheel for smooth blade travel and a Carter™ quick tension release lever that facilitates easy blade changing. A micro-adjustable dual bearing blade guide system is located above and below the table, complemented by a work lamp and chip blower for enhanced visibility and cleanliness. The bandsaw utilizes a Poly-V belt to maximize power transmission while minimizing noise and vibration, and it offers a full 6" under guide capacity with 13-1/2" frame to blade clearance. Additionally, the aluminum rip fence comes with a resaw attachment, while features include a de-tension setting to extend blade life during non-use, a chip blower for a clean cut line, precision balanced wheels for reduced vibration, an easy-to-read tensioning gauge marked in blade width increments, an adjustable 60-watt lamp (bulb not included), and a rigid one-piece welded stand that requires no assembly.
