The Vollrath Redco Can Opener, model BCO-1, features a 1" gear and a 16" bar length, making it a robust tool for efficient can opening. This model is equipped with Eaziclean™ blades that are finished with an antibacterial coating to enhance safety, while the high-grade steel cutting mechanism ensures a clean cut without the risk of frayed metal shavings. All cutting mechanisms are dishwasher safe, and the BCO-7000 model is dishwasher safe in its entirety. It includes a patented quick-release blade carrier for easy cleaning and color-coded collars for straightforward identification: Titan for extra heavy-duty, blue for heavy duty, and yellow for medium duty. The can opener is built with a case-hardened blade for longevity, along with wheels made from gear-cutting grade steel that can withstand intense pressure. Additionally, the bevelled gear wheel simplifies assembly, and the ergonomic design provides more comfortable use. The can opener features a stainless steel base and base clamp, is NSF certified, and accommodates cans with a maximum height of 14".
