The Vollrath Redco Tomato Pro, model 0643N, is designed for efficient tomato slicing with a 3/16" cut and a straight blade, without a safety guard. This slicer features NSF approval and is constructed from high-density polyethylene, making it resistant to corrosion from constant contact with tomato acids and other harsh foods. The positive-stop arm enhances stability during operation of the push-through slicing mechanism. The kit includes the slicer itself, which is available with either straight or scalloped blades, enabling users to slice tomatoes without the need for pre-scoring the skin.
