The Coffing LSB ratchet lever hoist has a lifting capacity of 6 tons and features a 5 ft. lift. It is rated for loads of 3/4, 1-1/2, 3, and 6 tons, with standard lifts available in 5, 10, 15, and 20 feet, and other lifts can be requested. An optional load limiter alerts the operator of potential overloads by allowing the handle to rotate without lifting a load that exceeds capacity, and this load limiter can be field-installed. The hoist is constructed with an impact-resistant, stamped steel housing designed to endure rigorous use, while its compact design enhances portability and ease of rigging. The hoist utilizes double reduction gearing with a short, cushioned-grip handle for easy operation with minimal effort, and a 360° rotating handle offers versatility in rigging, especially in confined spaces. It includes a state-of-the-art free-wheeling mechanism for quick one-handed take-up and positioning of slack chain, along with an enclosed screw-and-disc type load brake that keeps clean and dry for reliable load positioning. Additionally, the hooks are equipped with latches that ensure positive load engagement. For the 1-1/2 ton and 3 ton models, a shipyard hook option is available.
