The FloodMaster RS-080 series of total water main shut-off and alarm products are specifically designed for localized leak detection, suitable for a single room or floor. Upon detecting a leak, the unit automatically shuts off the water main supply line, with model selection based on the required valve size for interfacing with the designated water main pipe. Unlike other FloodMaster products focused on localized appliance control, the RS-080 series facilitates complete water shutoff to the entire building or facility plumbing section. When the sensor contacts water, the system not only shuts down the water feed line but also activates an audible alarm, preventing extensive water damage. The FloodMaster units are characterized by rigid and reliable automatic valves, easy installation without needing electrical wiring, and the capability to reset easily. They also meet the NSF372 potable water standard, and multiple sensors can be added to a single alarm system.
