Floodmaster's RS-096 system is designed to detect and notify users of leaks from water-fed appliances, plumbing fixtures, and tanks/containers, effectively preventing water damage caused by overflowing air conditioning, HVAC, HVACR, and water chiller condensate pans. The system includes a peel-and-stick metal plate for flexible sensor installation at the desired sensing height (minimum 1/16") with embedded magnets ensuring that the sensor remains securely in position. The sensor can be installed flush to the floor for immediate alarm response or at a predetermined overflow alarm level. Upon contact with water or any non-flammable conductive liquid, a loud audio alarm is triggered. Additionally, optional dry contacts (NO/C/NC) can be utilized for fault notifications to an existing security panel or building management system (BMS). The RS-096 can also be wired through an appropriate relay (not included) to shut off the HVAC unit, preventing further water accumulation in the pan. The system is powered by a 120 VAC transformer that plugs into a standard wall outlet.
