The 4C horizontal mailbox is a double unit featuring 20 mailbox doors and stands at a height of 41 inches. It is front-loading, constructed of heavy-duty aluminum with stainless steel hardware, and is U.S.P.S. approved, manufactured to USPS-STD-4C specifications, making it ideal for apartments, commercial buildings, and residential developments. This mailbox is required for new constructions and major remodels, adhering to U.S.P.S. standards which mandate a minimum of one parcel locker for every ten tenant compartments. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and is available in a durable powder-coated finish in aluminum, bronze, gold, and sandstone. Each door comes with a heavy-duty cam lock equipped with a dust/rain shield and three keys. The mailbox door sizes include MB1 at 13-1/4" W x 3-1/4" H, MB2 at 13-1/4" W x 6-3/4" H, MB3 at 13-1/4" W x 10-1/4" H, and MB4 at 13-1/4" W x 13-3/4" H. The unit is available in configurations that range from one door wide (single column) to two doors wide (double column) and can support three to fifteen MB1 equivalent door heights, with popular maximum heights reaching 56-3/4" H. ADA compliant units are also available. Fully integrated and stand-alone parcel lockers come in five MB1 door heights (PL5 - 17-1/4" high) and six MB1 door heights (PL6 - 20-3/4" high). An outgoing mail compartment, equivalent to two 3-1/4" high standard doors, is designated for outgoing mail collection and includes the U.S.P.S. master lock access door (which is installed by the U.S.P.S.), a 10-3/4" W x 3/4" H mail slot, and a weather protection hood. Each mailbox includes a factory-installed 3/4" W x 1/4" D trim and a solid rear cover.
