The 4B+ horizontal mailboxes are U.S.P.S. approved exclusively for replacement and retrofit installations, suitable for apartments, condominiums, commercial buildings, and residential developments. Constructed entirely of aluminum, these mailboxes feature a durable powder-coated finish available in aluminum, bronze, gold, and sandstone. They come with "A" size doors (6-1/2" W x 5-1/4" H) or larger "B" size doors (13" W x 5-1/4" H). Units with standard "A" size doors are available in configurations of 3, 4, or 5 doors wide and 5, 6, or 7 doors high. Units featuring larger "B" size doors are offered in 2 doors wide and 5, 6, or 7 doors high. Each door is equipped with a 5 pin cylinder cam lock (including 2 keys), and one mailbox opening is necessary for a master postal lock which is installed by the U.S.P.S. and cannot be used for mail distribution. The front-loading door panel swings on a continuous hinge, while the units also include factory-installed 3/4" W x 1/4" D trim and a solid rear cover.
