The vertical mailboxes are U.S.P.S. approved only for replacement and/or retrofit installations manufactured to USPS-STD-4B+ specifications, making them suitable for use in apartments, condominiums, and commercial buildings. Constructed entirely of aluminum, these mailboxes feature a durable powder-coated finish available in aluminum, brass, bronze, sandstone, and green. The rough opening for recessed mounted vertical mailboxes is designed to be 1-1/2" less than the unit's width, 1-1/4" less than the unit's height, and equal to the unit's depth. They fit into a rough opening and are secured with mounting hardware (not included) through the back or side panels. Each unit includes a fully integrated flanged collar that fits over the rough opening. Individual compartment dimensions are 5-1/2" W x 16-1/4" H x 6-3/4" D, and the doors and trim are striated to resist scratching. Each door is equipped with a 5 pin cylinder cam lock and comes with 2 keys. Mailboxes are available in configurations ranging from 3 to 7 compartments.
