The CM® Columbus McKinnon Bandit Ratchet Lever Hoist has a 1-1/2 ton capacity and a 5-foot lift, making it the lightest and most compact hoist available. This portable hoist features easy free chaining and a 360-degree rotating handle, enhancing versatility in various applications. It is the world's first HMI-certified ratchet lever hoist equipped with RFID technology, designed with a rugged yet lightweight construction that facilitates easy transport and use in confined spaces. The hoist includes an easy free chaining feature for quick setup and slack chain positioning, while ensuring it does not accidentally free chain under load. Its double reduction gearing allows for easy operation with minimal handle effort, and the screwed-on comfortable rubber grip ensures a secure hold in diverse environments. The hoist meets ASME B30.21 standards and features an enclosed Weston-type load brake that remains clean and dry for reliable load positioning. The upper and lower hooks come with standard forged safety latches for secure load engagement and are bolted on for easy removal and inspection. These hooks have extra wide throat openings to facilitate easier attachment to pick points and can swivel 360° for quicker positioning. The impact-resistant stamped steel housing is designed to withstand rigorous use, complemented by a standard powder coat finish on the housing and zinc plating on major components for enhanced corrosion resistance in harsh settings.
