The Scimatco 54-gallon flammable cabinet features a self-closing design with dimensions of 43"W x 18"D x 44-5/8"H and is constructed from 1" multi-ply exterior-grade plywood, which thermally insulates the cabinet contents from fire. The cabinet's floor is designed as a 2" liquid-tight trough, ensuring safety during storage. It meets all applicable OSHA and NFPA standards for the storage of flammable liquids and is finished with multiple coats of chemical-resistant paint. The cabinet is equipped with two internal metal locks, each with two keys, and continuous piano-type hinges on the doors. Large flammable labels are prominently displayed on the doors for easy identification, and the interior includes two adjustable shelves. Additionally, four leveling feet are provided for stability. Notably, Scimatco has identified several states that require self-closing doors for flammable cabinets according to the UFC (Uniform Fire Code), including AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, MT, NV, NM, OR, UT, WA, and WY. It is advisable to check local municipality regulations prior to ordering to ensure compliance with self-closing door requirements for flammable storage.
