The Idem 205005A KL3-SS guard locking switch-std act(std release), 110V, 1/2NPT, SS includes a robust position interlock detection mechanism for moving guards and a lock to keep the guard closed until the hazard is removed. These tongue-operated switches are suitable for sliding or hinged machine guards, offering tamper-resistant switching contacts and a difficult-to-defeat key mechanism. Depending on the risk assessment, they can be used independently for positively operated contacts to EN60947-5-1 or in conjunction with dual channel safety monitoring relays for up to PLe category 4 to ISO13849-1 or SIL3 EN62061.
