The Idem 202005HF KLM Guard Locking Switch-HF act(std release) features a 110V, 1/2NPT die cast construction. These guard locking switches are tongue operated and are designed to fit to the leading edge of sliding or hinged machine guards, providing robust position interlock detection and a lock mechanism to keep the guard closed until the hazard has been removed. They offer positively operated switching contacts and a tamper-resistant key mechanism, meeting EN60947-5-1 standards. Available in various materials and housing styles, they can be used independently or in combination with dual channel safety monitoring relays to provide up to PLE Category 4 to ISO13849-1 or SIL3 EN62061 ratings. With features like 8 actuator entry positions, 2 lock monitoring safety contacts, high holding force of 2000N, LED diagnostics, and 2 emergency manual release points, these switches are suitable for rigorous applications in factory automation, packaging, food processing, pharmaceutical, and petro-chemical industries. They are IP67 rated and have dimensions of 46mm wide, 176mm long, and 30mm fixing.
