Idem 405002 RFID coded non contact switch SP-RFID-U, with a range of 5m. Idem's LPF-RFID and SPF-RFID non contact coded switches are designed to provide a high level of functional safety with a highly anti-tamper coded activation. The coding is achieved through magnetic and radio frequency techniques, both of which need to be satisfied for the switch to operate securely. These switches can be connected to most popular standard safety relays to achieve up to PLe/Category 4 to ISO13849-1 standards. They come in high specification plastic housings, making them suitable for almost any environment including those requiring high pressure cleaning after contamination. Both switches have IP69K ingress protection and are suitable for CIP and SIP processes. The typical sensing distance in the "on" position is 14mm with a wide tolerance for guard misalignment. The RFID sensing ensures tamper-resistant operation when the actuator is within the sensing range. LPF-RFID and SPF-RFID switches are available in two types: coded by series or uniquely coded. Type 1, LPF-M-RFID or SPF-M-RFID, uses a master code by series where any actuator can operate any switch. This is suitable when unique door activation is not required but the benefits of RFID make it difficult to be overridden. Type 2, LPF-U-RFID or SPF-U-RFID, offers unique codes with 32,000,000 variations. These switches are factory-set and used when unique activation is necessary in areas with multiple interlocked doors requiring individual security.
