Idem IDIS-1 compact safety interlock switches are engineered for position interlock detection in small moving guards and can be fitted to the leading edge of sliding, hinged, or lift-off machine guards. The switch features a rugged stainless steel actuator profile that aligns with a cam mechanism, delivering a positively operated interlock system that is not easily defeated. The compact body has a 22mm fixing profile and a rotatable head, making installation feasible in space-restricted areas. Additionally, a plastic flexible actuator is available for tight radius guards, and the contact blocks can be replaced with options for slow or snap break operation.
