3M™ Scotch® 969 ATG adhesive transfer tape measures 1/2" x 18 yds. and is available in a case containing 72 rolls. This 5 mil clear tape is designed to bond a wide variety of materials, including plastics, glass, paints, and surfaces with glossy finishes. It boasts very high initial adhesion, creating an immediate, permanent bond that offers good solvent and UV resistance. The adhesive is effective on difficult, varied, and textured surfaces, even in high humidity and direct sunlight. Featuring 3M™ adhesive 300, it provides high initial adhesion and is compatible with a variety of substrates, such as metals, coated papers, fabrics, foams, and both high surface energy (HSE) and low surface energy (LSE) plastics. This acrylic adhesive 300 has been rigorously tested according to ASTM procedures for peel adhesion, temperature and humidity resistance, as well as durability against UV, fuels, acids, and detergents. Key features include very high adhesion with good shear holding power, excellent performance on glossy surfaces and most plastics, easy conformance to curves and contours, effective bonding to smooth and moderately textured surfaces, and a clean application that leaves no mess, residue, or odor. Common applications encompass sealing pocket folders, bonding mat board in picture frames and dust covers, splicing paper, films, and foils, general-purpose bindery attachment, and mounting promotional items and posters.
