3M™ Tartan™ 8934 filament tape measures 1" x 60 yds and has a thickness of 4 mil, with 36 rolls per case. This general purpose clear fiberglass-reinforced tape features a synthetic rubber resin adhesive, making it ideal for light duty strapping, bundling, and reinforcing. The adhesive offers good adhesion to most fiberboard surfaces as well as a variety of plastics and metal surfaces. Designed for light duty applications, this tape is suitable for box closing, strapping, palletizing, box reinforcing, and general bundling. The tape provides good initial adhesion and maintains its grip with minimal rub-down. Its tough, clear film backing is abrasion and moisture resistant, ensuring good aging and helping to keep boxes securely closed over extended periods. The combination of backing, filaments, and adhesive delivers high tensile and shear strength, while allowing printed materials and illustrations to be visible through the tape. It offers effective hold across a wide range of application conditions with a reduced amount of tape usage, making it cost-efficient for applications requiring high tensile strength.
